In God We Trust
15 x 7cm, Digital print, 2008 (original size of dollar bill) fake dollar bills with Arabic translation replacing the phrase “In God We Trust” (also referring to an excerpt of the Sura of Yunus 10:85).

world wide praying directions
2008 drawing (ink on paper) and stencils, drawing 100 x 70 cm, dimensions of the stencils variable. Work in progress.
The drawing shows world wide praying directions of Muslims (Mecca), Jews (Jerusalem) and Christians (East). Their relation to each other changes by changing the point of view or residence.

2008 double screen video installation, variable dimensions
The left video is a collage of footage material from the movie “African queen” (1956) and shows tries of the missionaries imposing their faith to the “wild Africans”. The second video shows a scene in the streets of Stuttgart, Germany: Members of a black apostolic church community try to "re-evangelise" the people.
